Multiple views on objects
To understand the nature of an object, we look at it again and again. Turn it over to one side and look at them from the other. This is how we collect information about the viewed object and find answers to our questions. And with every answer we get a lot of new questions.

The multiple exposures by Spengler symbolize this urge for knowledge and insight. But also the inability to find a comprehensive and objective perception of the object. Each exposure on the film, from different perspectives, shows many properties of the object. But it also causes the overall picture to become less clear. Supposed knowledge is challenged by new information. An exposure overlays the previous one. The less clear the pictures, the more different the perception of the objects by different individuals will be.
